Art classes with Talya

Wednesday, February 3, 2021
Subject: "Kintsugi"
(Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — The 400-year-old technique actually highlights the "scars" as a part of the design. A metaphor for: Sometimes in the process of repairing things that have broken, we actually create something more unique, beautiful and resilient.
We are doing this art in 2D, rather than actual pottery)

Supplies Needed:White Paper, glue or tape, pencil, eraser, colored pencils, black sharpie.
Dark yellow pastel (optional)

Recording below. Class begins at approximately 3:30 (three and a half minutes)
